Welcome, Aspiring Stand-Up Comedians!

Dear funny people,

Stand-Up Comedians Korea (abbreviated as SUCK) is a group for anyone who wants to try doing stand-up comedy and would like a group of people to work with. People are welcome to join if they don't have experience but we hope to see what you can do. Gather to create and show off your stand-up material.

Expect to work hard at making people laugh. Work on your own material. Keeping a special notebook for comedy that you work in regularly is highly recommended. You may want to bring a notebook and a pen to the meetings.

All those new to stand-up are expected to perform in public after three meetings. Success in stand-up is learned through many failures. The number one way of learning this trade is by doing it and by considering the consequences later – just like wars and unprotected sex.
